Holiday Glitz Earrings

I have two local shows coming and have been busy making holiday earrings. I did them in silvers and golds, utilizing affordable components and the colors of Christmas!

I created this necklace yesterday with a combination of jasper, pearls, Czech glass beads, and copper. The jasper focal is wire wrapped in copper, and the closure is hand made in copper. This too will go to the art show on Sunday. The coordinating earrings are done with the Czech glass and pearls on lever back nickel free ear wires.

NEW PIECES FOR UPCOMING ART SHOW

I have been making new items this week for the upcoming art show at the B&O, Youngstown, OH, Sunday Oct 3, 12:30 to 6:00 p.m. Items will go on Artfire next week, as well as the floral bracelets posted last week.

Pink Floral and Crystal Bracelet & Chandelier Earrings

This bracelet is made up of lovely metal floral components with beads to compliment the greens and pink. It is like yesterday's design in amber. I have one more set of metal components. However, they are slightly different and will be done in green/silver with crystal accents. Perhaps tomorrow! But - it's my wedding anniversary - 41 years! SUNFLOWERS, CRYSTAL, AND AMBER

I recently went bead shopping in Middlefield, OH at Country Art & Jewelry and found some lovely metal floral components. I bought three sets and this is the first set I have worked on. With Fall in the air, it seemed the best place to start. I purchased some Swarovski crystals to match the crystal in the components, but didn't care for the crystals alone. I had recently placed an order with http://www.magpiegemstones.com/ and in the order were some beautiful amber beads. I interspersed them with the crystal and am so excited with the results!
