WORK THIS WEEK....
I've been doing some new items this week - not yet posted on Artfire. I've been playing with metal and wire wrapping, and one new necklace with lampwork and seed beads. The metal piece is done with copper and aluminum. We'll see what tomorrow brings! Have a great week! :)))
July 31: p.s. I have reloaded the pictures for better viewing. Note that the lovely lampwork bead is by Shelly Beads. Her web site is listed to the right on my blog. I hope to get some of these items listed on my Arfire site today!

BACK AT THE COMPUTER - MORE NEW LISTINGS
I have been busy, busy taking photos and listing products on my Artfire site. Most are new listings, but a few are old listings with updated photos. I still have a long way to go...so may spread it out over a couple of days. Tomorrow I'm off to spend a few days with my sisters and looking forward to some bonding time with them.

NEW ITEMS ON ARTFIRE
I have spent the day today adding and deleting from my Artfire store. I have added several new items, including the sterling bracelet with "Beads by Jeanne." I had a jewelry showing yesterday at the boat docks, so had several things to delete as well. I can't believe the day is almost over...and still more to do tomorrow. Have a great week! Anita

"LAMP WORK BEADS BY JEANNE"
Some of you who follow this blog know my friend, Jeanne (AKA Gammiebrat). Well, she has been creating beautiful lamp work beads and I created a bracelet from some of her beads. I hope you enjoy seeing this bracelet as much as I enjoyed making it. It's hand-crafted in sterling silver with Bali accents. I am very proud of Jeanne and all she has accomplished in such a short time! She has found yet another niche! Have a wonderful day.

OFF TO JOHNNO'S BEACH STOP
Our group has already been to Johnno's - except for me - so here we are today, July 5, for lunch and some FINE entertainment! This group was awesome...I don't know their name, but they were each and every one extremely talented, from oldies to jazz - they were awesome and kept us well entertained until around 4pm. We had a great afternoon. Ashton was swimming today at the beach - that was a first for beach swimmingl, but she has been swimming in the pool without her floaties! We are very proud of her and her brother Braden - they are going to be great swimmers. Here are our pics from Johnno's. Enjoy. One more day, and we leave for home.
STRAW HAT RESTAURANT
Well, Friday was a day back to Shoal Beach. Jay and I mostly hung out at the bar while the rest went down to the beach - only a few feet away.
But on Saturday, we ventured out to a new place for lunch and beach time - the Straw Hat Restaurant at Mead's Bay Anguilla http://www.strawhat.com/. Jay and I had portabello mushroom sandwich with cheese and eggplant - it was SOOOO yummy. I highly recommend it. Bruce joined us and had a pastrami Reuben, then Elaine joined us for some beach time. It was very relaxing. Colleen and Don decided to have a relaxing day at the villa and Adrienne, Tim, nephew Max and the grandchildren went to a Malliouhana Pirate Park. It's about a five minute walk down the beach. They spent the day there. They have a pool with slides for the children and they had a grand time. There were not too many children there, so they pretty much had the slides to themselves. I'll have to get pics from Adrienne to post. But these pics are from Straw Hat.
THE BROTHERS HEARN AT STRAW HAT!

AND - THE PIRATE COVE
And last but not least a picture of a yacht named THE GRANDE FINALE! Don't know them, just a beautiful picture!

IT'S WEDNESDAY!! Picante's for dinner
Today is our last day with Allison and Andy; they leave tomorrow for California. They plan on seeing a little of St. Maarten before going home. St. Maarten has a wonderful outdoor market in Marigot. Today we stayed around Rum Punch and enjoyed the pool and the view of St. Maarten. Actually, on a clear day you can also see St. Bart's and on a really clear day you can see the mountain peak on Saba Island.
We decided on Picante's for some Mexican fare for dinner. The prices were reasonable and the food was yummy! The atmosphere was great and you can get Margueritas by the pitcher! That worked out well for us!
On our way out for dinner, we had some visitors. In the States we watch for deer; in Anguilla, you watch for the goats! That's it....til tomorrow.

A souviner from Anguilla
While at Madeariman's, we had to stop by the neighboring gift shop, ZaZaa's (hope that's spelled right) and I found my souviner. The shell is set in sterling silver and has a decorative band that is adjustable. I haven't had it off since I got it!
JUST PHOTOS...
