My friend, Jeanne, and I had a few days away and it was just wonderful. We relaxed, we wired some beads, we did the casino (no, no big winners), we ate, we hunted beach glass, and we shopped. It was a lovely, peaceful, relaxing three days, but now it's back to the usual. Next week I start watching my grandchildren - they are a blessing.
Oh, yes, we may have a new beader/wire worker in our midst - our new friend and fellow camper, Judy, is interested in learning wire wrapping and beading and I think she's going to love it! We had some fun sharing reading materials and showing her Jeanne's beads and some of our wire work.
Sunday, Jeanne and I are going to an open house in Youngstown to learn create a precious metal clay pendant or earrings. There will also be a potter there. If you are from Youngstown and interested, here is the information:

VINTAG PARAWIRE CREATIONS
I got some new wire from Parawire this week and I love the Vintag colored wire. I was asked to make something for a fundraiser for First Book Mahoning Valley and I used the new wire and my Beads by Jeanne to come up with these creations. The necklaces will go to the fundraising event.
In addition, I had a special request for jewelry in yellow and again, using my Beads by Jeanne, I came up with this pendant and earrings set with sterling silver accents and velour tubing to string the necklace.
