CREATING FOR THE LITTLE DIVA!

Hi, everyone.  I have some new things to show today!  I have added three necklaces to my "Little Diva" line for the little ones in our lives.  All were created with seed beads and a simple focal.  Two were embellished with lampwork beads, created by my friend Jeanne.  The third piece was embellished with pink and white floral porcelain beads.  

SPECIAL ORDER!

Today I worked on a special order from my childhood friend, Patti, who I recently visited in Long Beach.  While there, we visited a great bead shop called "Pudgy Beads" and Pat picked out some beads for me to create with!  Those beads include the ones in the kitty necklace and bracelet.  The metal and glass beads were ones I had here at home.  Pat loves her kitty cats (all three inside and more outside)!  She left the creative part to me, so I hope she is happy with the end results.  She also had me make a child's set in pink and I used Czech glass and crystal with extra links added to the pieces for size accommodation.  Long Beach was wonderful and my visit with Pat most memorable.  Most of my visit however, was with  my newest granddaughter, Summer Abigail - it was a glorious two weeks!

p.s. the Kitty Bracelet focal bead is reversible - really cool with the flower design on the other side!

WORK THIS WEEK....

I've been doing some new items this week - not yet posted on Artfire. I've been playing with metal and wire wrapping, and one new necklace with lampwork and seed beads. The metal piece is done with copper and aluminum. We'll see what tomorrow brings! Have a great week! :)))

NEW ITEMS ON ARTFIRE

I have spent the day today adding and deleting from my Artfire store. I have added several new items, including the sterling bracelet with "Beads by Jeanne." I had a jewelry showing yesterday at the boat docks, so had several things to delete as well. I can't believe the day is almost over...and still more to do tomorrow. Have a great week! Anita

NEW A SNEAK PEAK - NEW DESIGNS!

I've been doing some work in sterling silver and learning how to solder. Soldering was a real challenge for me, but I did finally get it - at least the jump rings - it's a start. The designs are pretty much unplanned - I just start something and see what it works into. I hope to get some of these items on Artfire within the next week. Thanks for looking!

PET JEWELRY

I was talking to my cousin Patti today about my jewelry business and she told me that one thing that always sells, good times or bad, is something for your children or something for your pet. So, I'd really like your feedback on this. Being a pet owner and a grandma, I wouldn't mind putting together a jewelry collection for dogs and cats or children...maybe even both. But I want to find out what sells...I need to know what people would look for to adorn their pets. I know that the small children love the Cinderella-type bling, so that shouldn't be too hard. I spent some time on the internet looking at what other people design for their pet lines, but nothing really jumped out at me. So, all you pet owners, what kinds of bling would you like to see your special kitty or pup wearing? This could be fun. Thanks....Anita
